This article shows how the in-depth analysis of a key professional physical gesture contributes to training and professionalization. The is based on results an activity conducted with psychomotor therapists working pediatric patients. A microscopic but central part work resides in therapist’s body their gestural adjustments, remains implicit hardly put into words by carrying these movements. this show that conduct body, sensory affective inquiry These inform professionalization perspective provide opportunity consider group constitution, composition institutional recognition.
